Sounds of Puerto Rico
Saxophonist, composer, and recent MacArthur Fellow, Miguel Zenon, recently visited his native Puerto Rico to study the plena rhythm. The product of his studies, "Esta Plena" will be featured this week at the Jazz Gallery in NYC. Wish I could be there to hear it live!
